Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been lurking for quite some time now and decided to join.
I wanted to ask if I should start applying again for credit cards?
The first time I applied was last year, November. I applied for Amex green, Discover it, and chase freedom I was not approved for any, in the decline letter the sent my all of my scores were between 640-668.
The only thing that I could think of that prevented me from getting the cards was that is still owed 2000 on my car loan which is always paid before time and I'm like 4 months ahead. I have no other debt or things in collection. My sister told me it was probably because I'm 20 and not 21 yet but idk.
My car is paid off now and I'm thinking about applying again, what ever card I get (I I get one lol) will be my first credit card. Based on the info above do you guys think I should start applying again since I have no debt, and do you guys think the cards I stated above are good cards to start out with?
