Whats the diff between venture gold vs venture blue visa signature cards? Other than the blue having an annual fee?

Thanks for the link. Applied for Venture gold but was denied thats with having a capital one for many years with low to no utilization. Have a Amex gold prem'r along with other top cards yet couldnt get the venture with my foot already in the door by currently carrying a cap on mastercard. Go figure

You can get no AF 2% cards from Barclays (Priceline Visa) or FIA Card Services (Fidelity Amex).

I had linked to DailyMarkets [link removed] but I guess Michael changed the link to http://creditcardforum.com/blog/capital-one-venture-credit-card-review/

It's strange to see links changed without comment like that. Michael's review is good too (maybe even better with the break-even graph), I just didn't notice it.

Mod Note: Sorry David, was b/c of this (might have to logout to see):

Due to constant abuse, advertising, promoting, and/or linking to commercial websites is strictly prohibited. For clarification, websites which sell a product or service (including affiliate websites) are considered commercial in nature. News/media sites are exempt from this rule. Previously, this rule was only enforced on a case-by-case basis, but in order to be completely fair and avoid playing favorites, this policy now applies to all of the aforementioned sites.
Obviously there was no ulterior motive on your part, so don't worry that's not why. The aforementioned site rips off our content so we would especially prefer not to link to them and boost their search rankings. Linking direct to the official websites of banks and credit card issuer is always okay. Sorry for the troubles.

Ask for a recon. I have both and they are really worth it. The Venture's annual fee is a mere $59. If you travel esp outside the US even on occasion, it is great. The Venture and the Venture One are the only cards worth having from CapitalOne.

I would think the BofA's Travel Rewards card would beat the $59 CO card unless you were making a lot of purchases outside the US.

And BofA's customer service is better for sure.
