2013 Prepaid Debit Cards With Lowest Fees

Postby prepayer » Thu Mar 07, 2013 8:49 pm

i have a second job, commission based sales, i want to use a prepaid debit card to get paid but there are so many out there to choose from..

i wanted some input from you guys to help me choose the best, lowest fees, direct deposit, minimum balance are some of the things that pop in my head right now.

Also, almost none of the cards they sell at stores have the direct deposit feature available right away, one has to register it and have what they call a personalized card mail to me which takes 10 business days. i would prefer a card that was more "anonymous" for lack of a better word.

IMO - If you live in a Chase market, I would look at the Liquid as it gives you Free Unlimited ATM transactions at Chase machines (Including Deposits should you need to make one). The Liquid does have a 5$ a month fee, but it's well worth for the convenience you get of Free Unlimited ATM use.

Next choices would be the Walmart Money Card or BlueBird (Also Walmart).

These 3 Cards are the most "Fair" and "Trusted" Pre-Paid Cards by Trusted Sources.

Edit: Also note the Liquid and Bluebird cards allow for Mobile Depositing of Checks, which is super convenient to having to fund the card through 3rd Parties.

You can get it online and save the trip to Walmart.

These cards are going to require a SS#.
