Cheapest way to monitor your credit score?

Postby dapper » Sat Mar 02, 2013 5:41 pm

Does anyone have advice on the best and cheapest way to get and monitor your credit score?

I use credit karma as an estimate and also since its free but I've heard various opinions about its accuracy.

Well almost all credit monitoring services will cost you around $15 a month. Credit Karma is good if you don't mind the fact that the score they give you can be off about 20-30 points. They do actively monitor you though, since they send alerts as soon as they notice new accounts, credit inquires, etc. (I used to pay $15 a month at but now i dont pay anything for Credit Karma)
