5% cash back - still not sure how it works...

Postby agp » Sat Mar 02, 2013 11:11 am

Okay so let's say both the Chase Freedom and Discover IT have 5% bonus category only for gas stations this quarter. I spend over $1,500 on both of my card on non-gas related things. Then if I were to spend money on gas, do I get the 5% or only 1%?

Main Card: Amex Platinum
For gas: Penfed Platinum Cash Rewards
For travel & dining: Chase Sapphire Preferred
