Just got approved for Freedom!

Postby TheLethargicAge » Thu Feb 21, 2013 10:54 am

It was an instant approval, to boot. I'm so happy.

I stopped by a Chase branch to request a Liquid card and a plain ATM so I can avoid carrying my debit card. I got to talking to the banker and told him about my credit history, 3 cards on a payment program but other than that a flawless payment history, and I mentioned that I had applied for the Freedom back in November but got declined.

Long story short, he told me that he would put in a special reconsideration request and that he'll let me know in a couple days. Today he calls me and says they would approve me but that the app is too old but that if I apped again I'd get approved. Sure enough, I filled out the app and got approved instantly with a 3K limit.

This is so cool! Goodbye US Bank Cash Rewards card (and your godawful website).
