Could I get a Barclay SallieMae?

Postby s.jessica » Tue Feb 12, 2013 5:26 pm

College was a few years ago for me, got my degree and set out in the world. I bring this up because I was just reading about the Barclay SallieMae card and I was wondering if that was a card for students or if anyone could apply. I'm not familiar with student cards, do you need to be a full-time student to apply for some or would you be disqualified if you have current cards? I have to buy a ton of books and sign up for some online coursework for my job and I'm seriously liking the cash back on books.

Anyone can apply. I just use the rewards as statement credits.

That's what I was wanting to know, thanks. I was afraid I was going to apply for something strictly for students by mistake and get in trouble or something. I know my bank said anyone could get a student checking account, but I wasn't sure how that worked with credit cards.

A student card application would probably ask which school the applicant goes to.
