Has anyone used credit.com? I just started and I like that one too, along with Credit Karma and Credit Sesame!

CreditKarma doesn't seem to have the manual refresh button anymore as of this morning. It was there yesterday.

Click "Update".

Hi,

I never heard of credit.com so i tried to sign up and it told me I have a "credit freeze" on my account... I never ordered one! I know there's a background check running on my right now but that should not trigger a credit freeze right ?
Also I remember that I couldn't verify my identity with Quizzle and get my free credit report from Equifax because their form is not meant for US newcomers and it just doesn't work.

Anyone know how to resolve this or how long it's suppose to freeze my credit ?

I'm somehow on the beta version of CK. I remember what you're talking about, but it's not available to me anymore. I can't get out of the beta mode.

It looks like I get weekly updates now. I sent CK a message asking, "What gives?"

It's not bad, but I I feel like Credit Karma gives the most information. Credit.com seems to have a good interface (I like their site layout a lot), but not as much information at CK. I use credit.com every now and then to see a good overall snapshot of my credit, and they provide good explanations and tips to each of the "grades" they give you on the different credit report sections, similar to CK.

They pull from Experian. Their estimated score they gave me was in line with what I had pulled from Experian (713 on credit.com vs 715), but YMMV. All of my information was correct as well (AAoA, # of accounts, etc)

How do you like the beta? I am in it, and I like being able to add accounts for monitoring, at one of the same places I check my credit. I think I still like some of the features on Mint though, and use that as my primary account monitoring site. And I think I once found a manual update in the Beta, but it was hidden, let me try and find it again.

I checked out Credit.com, and I agree with moxie, they seem to have experian data, and they give a FICO estimate, so I think I will continue to check this site as well. Are there any other Quizzle, CreditSesamie, CreditKarma users here that have checked out credit.com? What are your thoughts?

There used to be a manual update option in beta - it was definitely low-profile and hard to find. It has disappeared as of today.

I have become somewhat used to the beta, but I don't find it any more useful than the old version. I'm ok putting my financial information into Mint. Intuit, the parent company, has a long reputation for securely handling that type of info (Turbotax, Quickbooks). I'm not comfortable letting CK have it yet.
