Newbie here

Hello all,

First thing first. My apologies if I posted in the wrong forum. I am a NEWBIE lol

I've been reading a lot of posts and finally decided to make an account. Anywho, I am 29 yrs old and my FICO scores from Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian are 674/688/679, respectively. These are not my "FAKO" scores. I pulled them off the Equifax site, because I heard they do the actual FICO scores.

I know the scores are pretty low. I made a few mistakes when I was younger and paying for it now. I am currently paying down some credit cards and have 1 late 30 day payment. Once I get my credit down to the under 30% ratio, I'm hoping my score will jump up a lot. My revolving credit ratio is currently 41%. So, hopefully once I get that down....I will see an increase in my credit score. I know the late payment is still going to keep me down a lil bit, that's fine.

I'm working on getting my ratio down first, then work on clearing the late payment out...or at least trying to get it cleared out. I have 2 credit cards, I am interested in getting once my credit score gets up: Chase Freedom and Chase Sapphire Preferred.

I know I have some work to do, before even applying for those, but that's okay. The work will be worth it. Well, that's my spill for now. If you have any ideas or suggestion, feel free to pm me or post a reply! Thank you for reading. Happy to be a part of the forum :)

v/r,
