Theres been talk about this here:
http://creditcardforum.com/rewards/5963-recent-curtailments-rewards-cashback-cards-offer-these.html

Theres no solid proof though that its going away from what I've read. Just speculation based on the fact its harder to apply for one now.

Frankly, I wouldn't surprised if Cash+ was nerfed in some way. As said in that thread, maybe they will just cap the rewards like Amex does on the BCE/BCP.

I've gotten 5 cards in the last 12 months, so I'm not sure if that's considered excessive enough to hurt my chances of getting the us bank cash plus card. I thought about changing my blue card to a BCE also. @money card, I have the no annual fee venture card, and it's sockdrawered because I don't want to deal with their cs.

Is there an annual fee with the us bank cash plus? I couldn't find anything regarding an annual fee on the website.

primary cards

Postby craigm1 » Sat Jan 05, 2013 11:28 am

If you look at my signature you can see my lengthy list of credit cards, I have a cell phone with a credit card case
SmartFlex Card Cases for iPhone 5 | Speck Products

I keep my drivers license and my amex blue cash original and a us bank cash +, most of the time I don't even carry a wallet or cash. This gives me cash back 5% on gas, groceries, drugstore on the amex and the usbank I have 5% for restaurants and 5% for bills. I usually get back about $100 on my amex in cash back and about $50 a month with the us cash+. I have a chase with a 7.99 interest rate so if I plan on paying something off I use this and for large purchases that I know I will pay off I use the capital one with gives me 1.5% cash back.

for my daily use the amex and us bank cash+ are all I really use.

There is no annual fee.

I think thats considered excessive. Those 5 cards are what 5 hard pulls? Thats a lot. 24 months until they fall off.

Robrus1 If I were you I would use as primary cards the Discover It and American Express gold card.

4 were hard pulls. Sounds like I just need to chill for a while and hope that the us bank cash plus card sticks around for a while. Perhaps something comparable will come out eventually, too.
