Got denied for student card, what next?

Postby astrong5 » Fri Dec 28, 2012 10:36 am

I applied for their student credit card and was denied because I didn't have a savings account. My credit score is 610 and I don't have a job but I have income in my checking account because I live with my boyfriend and parents. I am also a full time student.

What should I do next to be approved for a student credit card? should I apply to citi forward college card?

I believe with a low score and no job your not going to get approved for much, if anything.

My boyfriend gives me 300 in my checking account and my dad deposits part of his check in there too so that I have spending money for my son.
