Why is my credit score so low?

I don't think this is true. I've never heard of your income taxes/return having any impact on your credit. Your credit score/report has nothing to do with the government (except for filing bankruptcy). Also, your personal checking account has nothing to do with your score, so when your refund is depostited, will have no impact.

The other points are valid. Keeping your credit utlization below 30% will definitely help.

At "Jdauria", no I meant it towerds Daniels post. Also I have been doing all of the right things as far as I know other than pif, which I will after income tax. My overall uti has been really low and my uti for my Citi card has been under 20% for the last 4 months. I guess il just have to wait some more time for that to take over as well as my hard pulls to fall off.
