Dudes, check this out a post from the FICO forum:

I have a 15000 amex and got denied lol , I was just able to recon it. Just keep calling until you get someone nice. My second attempt I got a nice old white lady(I say white because alot of the reps there are indian and they dont help at all).

All I can say is wow, I think it's funny but I said FAR less than that (commented my Cap One rep had an Indian accent) and am banned for life from that forum. Not like the mods have double standards there or anything!

Haha, it's all good, I just don't like Green Bay that much...sorry. I have heard good things about chase and I've heard that their credit cards are in very much demand..lol. I think you had things going on and maybe it lead you to closing it, but I can respect your decision about going at it day by day. I had the same feelings when applying for cards too, I might be lucky now but not later. You could still see if Chase will bring you in again, even though in hindsight, I doubt they will bring you in again. And ya, you could have gotten the CSP later on.

And yes it is a bit insulting, unless my credit was bad, I would not go for a secured card...uhh no thanks. And lol at the cheesehead, maybe they know you have a room full of cheesehead memorabilia...I'm going to say again, go 49ers!

I don't mind seeing the 49ers win, as long as they aren't beating the cheeseheads! :)

I'm in Seahawk territory and even I feel sorry for the Cheeseheads in regards to our last game on September 24th :S

As regards to double standards on myFico, perhaps you were unlucky and someone reported your post or something? Because I notice a lot of other posts stating CSRs are Indian or have Indian accents, or stating they don't want an Indian CSR, etc...

Sakhalin, I guess good came out of it when they got rid of those bozos.Otherwise they were going to screw us ALL at some point they were so lousy. Then the games are getting decided by the bad calls of a bunch of fools instead of the players.
So, we took it in the shorts that time, but Seattle did in the Super Bowl too. Not that one makes the other right, but at least we got the regular refs back who are far more competent (and far from perfect).

Actually there was one mod who had it in for me. I'm sure he had his reasons but he did not like me and made sure to note anything I did that he could. And I sure gave him ammunition. The post I made that got me banned wasn't as bad as this one, but he used other things in conjunction to get me banned. It's really just as well I was wasting WAY too much time there. I guess it's a favor in the long run. I'd honestly rather post here anyway. I do like to read FICO they do have some very knowledgeable people there.

But they do have the "good ole boys club" going on there. Depending on who you are, some can post things that might be construed as aggressive and others can't. I see that even today and you can figure out pretty quickly which people are which. I have yet to see that here. Seems to be moderated fairly.
