Credit score shot up 50 points!

Postby Bobzig » Wed Sep 19, 2012 5:50 am

I'm super stoked that after paying off a collection account from an old tuition balance at my college that I raised my credit score by 50 points! I'm even more stoked that it got deleted from my credit report, which I was told was going to stay on there. Checked, and gone! :)

I don't know how high your scores are but it feels good knowing not many loans or credit cards that I wouldn't get approved for, right before I cleared it up I got denied for a us bank cash + card and had to do a joint with my wife, it will always be a reminder to me of not getting myself back in that place.
