Business credit card options for my established corporation?

Postby universal » Wed Aug 22, 2012 2:53 pm

Can I use my 4 year old corporation with good credit as the personal guarantee on a newer company card application? If so, what do you do about the "age".

Can you apply for personal cards using your business info? I thought I had read these two scenarios somewhere but of course now cannot find anything relevant. I am wanting to upgrade houses in 6 months so I am being ultra protective over my personal credit at the moment and don't want to apply for anything new but would like the option of expanding business while the getting is good.

if it's the same company I would say yes but if you bought a different company I would say no. since your an authorizing officer you can try to open up a small business credit card.

yes you can apply for personal credit cards just put down your business name, your name, social security and how many years you have been at your present place of work. I wouldn't list your tax id unless your applying for a small business credit card. don't forget salary from all sources yes include your total household income, your gross pay for the year.
