Anyone know it? I jut got denied for their Forward Card (seriously?!). Their reason was "Your total credit obligations, which include outstanding credit lines, are too high to meet our approval guidelines, when compared to your stated income." So basically I have too much available credit and not enough income. Apparently a 1% credit utilization, only 13% DTI ratio and a guaranteed check from disability means nothing. Funny I just applied for the US Bank Cash+ card and while not getting it I was offered the Cash Rewards card with a $2500 limit instead (instantly too). So anybody know the number to call?
Also, I took advantage of the free credit report I was entitled to because of the denial from Equifax and found a discrepancy, they list my length of credit history as 2 years 3 months and my average account age as 4 years 1 months. How can they **** that up like that? I rechecked the free report I pulled back in February and it was correct then, so I have no idea how they ****ed it up. I know account age wasn't stated as an issue but one has to wonder...
