I just received the form and filled it out and sent it back in to Citi. The day after I applied on a whim I applied for the Discover More student card. They said they wanted to confirm that I was enrolled in school and my address. I was on the phone with the guy for about 5 minutes when he told me they approved me for a card with a 500 dollar limit. I think thats a great place to start and am very happy with the decision.

I will keep you guys updated on what is going on with Citi.

Citi is pretty fast with document verification. When I applied for the Forward, I was asked to send in photocopies of my student ID and other documents confirming my current address. My first attempt was lost in the mail by USPS, so I sent the copies again (with tracking this time) and they approved me for a $3300 limit the same day they received my documents.

Congrats on the Discover More!

I was going to mention that Discover and Citi are great about working with you and they have student cards options. Glad you got the Discover More though. :)

Another update:
After finally getting my SSN and verifying the information, Citi approved me for a Citi Forward with an 1000 dollar limit this Friday. Thank you all so much for your advice and help.
