Bank did hard credit inquiry when they said it would be soft

I wanted to preface by saying I know the basics of hard pulls and soft pulls etc., but that I am also sometimes willing to believe in people.

TL;DR -> Chase did a hardpull when they told me there would only be a soft pull. Can I get that reversed?

When my banker at my Chase branch(where my personal accounts are) offered a new business credit card when I just so happened to be hunting for a nice business card, I agreed to signing up for one. (Over the phone with him)

He explicitly told me that there would be no hard pull on my credit, but I suspected that there would be one, but checked with him to ensure that there would be none....

Obviously, after I got the card, I notice the hard pull.

Do I have any options? I know in the past when a home security company did a hard pull on me without my permission, they had to reverse it. Do I have the ability to keep this new credit card, but force Chase to remove the hard pull since they fraudulently told me there would be none?

I think that if they did the hard pull without your permission, you can send a letter to the credit reporting agencies and request they remove it. It might not be worth it for just one HP, however.

When i called Chase last month they told me same thing soft pull for CLI but it wasn't.
You can't get a new credit card without a hard pull so even if they remove it they will most likely cancel the card.

Now i know that EVERY CLI from Chase is a HARD PULL.
You've got the card so hard pull wasn't wasted just keep it no big deal.
