Almost done!

Postby FutureBillionaire » Mon Aug 13, 2012 11:58 am

Well, I was approved for the Citi Forward with a $6500 limit and an American Express Blue Cash Preferred with a $12,500 limit. I'm waiting on my US Bank Cash + card application to finish processing. Even if I don't get approved for the Cash +, I am happy with my complete collection of cards. I feel like I get awesome cash back for all the places I shop at this point. My Citi will get me points at restaurants and Amazon. (I love Amazon, btw. If they launch same day delivery, you may never see me in a Target or Walmart again.) I also get my cash back at grocery stores where I can buy gift cards to places I like to shop. I'm also pleased that I only have two cards with annual fees. The fees are worth it on both of the cards, in my opinion.

I agree - I love my Citi Forward...Although I've never been an AMEX person (I'm a Discover guy), its a great card as well.

Tips on the Forward Card...

All Restruants qualify - doesn't matter if its McD's or some shwank 5 star "must wear a tie" joint. This is card for those like me that practically lives on dinning out and take out.

Bill your Netflix, Blockbuster, Hulu accounts as they qualify.

Broadway and Movie Tickets all qualify

Amazon, Apple Itunes Purchases all qualify

Free Cell Phone insurance if you pay your Cell Phone Bill with you Card (A Lot of people miss this awesome benefit, and covers all lines on your account)

and Just for paying your bill on time - you get extra 100 points as well as APR reductions every 3 billing cycles consistently.

Seriously Citi Forward is one of the Best Cards it's meant to be your Everyday card...

Dude, you are awesome. Let me know if I can ever be of any assistance to you.

I have seven lines on my Verizon account. That insurance feature will come in handy.

I have blockbuster through dish network. I'm assuming I can't get the discount there. I better go read again.

I have Hulu, so that will be added.
