All Restruants qualify - doesn't matter if its McD's or some shwank 5 star "must wear a tie" joint. This is card for those like me that practically lives on dinning out and take out.

Bill your Netflix, Blockbuster, Hulu accounts as they qualify.

Broadway and Movie Tickets all qualify

Amazon, Apple Itunes Purchases all qualify

Free Cell Phone insurance if you pay your Cell Phone Bill with you Card (A Lot of people miss this awesome benefit, and covers all lines on your account)

and Just for paying your bill on time - you get extra 100 points as well as APR reductions every 3 billing cycles consistently.

Seriously Citi Forward is one of the Best Cards it's meant to be your Everyday card...

Future, you are missing one key card :) .

How about an overall cash back card with higher than 1% for expenditures not covered by category card?

Some choices:
1) Do the gold/platinum package with US bank for .25% or .5% bonus on Cash+ card? for 1.25 or 1.5 equivalent. Remember you can redeem in 100 dollar increments for 125 gift card for even higher amounts

2) Fidelity AMEX: 2% into Fidelity account

3) JCB Marauki Premium Card: Up to 3% cash back (I think all spending after 3k)

4) New Priceline VISA/MC: 2% but with funky rules.

5) Ameriprise World Elite MC: 1.5% when deposit into Ameriprise account

6) Cap One Cash Back: 1.5% but .5% deposited once a year.
Amex Centurion, Amex Platinum, Amex BCP 8k->24k (5/23/12), Amex TE 15k, Cap One 1.5% 15k->20k (8/7/13), CSP 25k, Chase Palladium 100k, Citibank AA 35k (AU), Firestone 1.8k->2.2k->2.4k (8/20/12), JFCU Jloc 30k, PenFed Plat Rewards 30k, SF Fire 30k, US Bank Cash+ 25k

It probably classifies as a Music Store, so then it will qualify.

The cellphone insurance on Forward only covers $250 max and needs co-payment of $50.

If you push a lot of money, I recommend JCB Marauki card Crashem pointed out. Keep in mind that JCB-Discover alliance only covers retail store. So online/telephone acceptance are limited. I think this is a great card for business expense (great reward + personal credit protection).
In My Wallet:
Citi Forward (12/2010) | Citi TY Preferred (05/2011) | Chase Freedom (11/2011) | GECRB/PayPal (05/2012)
Discover it (07/2012) | AMEX BCP (09/2012) | TD/Target REDCard (10/2012) | Chase Ink Classic (11/2012)
BofA BBR (04/2013) | FNBO/Overstock.com (02/2014) | Barclaycard Arrival (04/2014) | FIA/Fidelity AMEX (04/2014)

The Penfed Cash rewards is awesome. The platinum rewards card is better though. It gets 5 points on gas, 3 points on groceries, and 1 point on everything else. Keep in mind that the cash rewards only gets .25% cash back on everything that is non-gas.
