I can't even read the other forum anymore

Postby MemberSince99 » Sun Jul 29, 2012 6:50 am

Too much arrogance and condescending advice on the forum where you can get your FICO score.

Case in point - a guy is asking about going for Amex Zync, Discover More and Chase Freedom, all "prime" cards but standards have been lowered for all of them lately. He has high 600s and AAoA 9 years. He's in the ballpark on all of them, though none is a shoo-in, and those people there are telling him his terribly short AAoA just isn't going to get him any prime cards. BS!!!!!!!!!!! 9 years is actually really good, what are those people smoking are they wallowing in their own arrogance, and if he has even a single inquiry in 2 years he's pretty much a criminal against credit and he might as well forget it.

I just can't really believe anything I read there anymore.

I can just imagine one of those immensely brilliant, gifted and wonderful people posting their own credit profile, it would go something like:
Though I'm extremely talented and a role model for everyone, I still haven't quite achieved perfection as my score is only fair at 811, and I'm of course not willing to settle for less than a perfect 850. I expect to achieve that around the same time I earn my first trillion - very shortly. I'm only 36 years old but my average age of account is 50 years, because my genius father set me up with accounts before I was born knowing how special I'd be. That's pretty short but some things even money can't buy you. I have a 9 figure income, a 4 digit IQ, a Playmate wife and an Ivy League education that I earned from flipping burgers (though dad did help me but I did it on my own!) I expect any day now a statue will be erected of me in the town square for everyone to bow to, and if you haven't achieved what I have, well you are just a low life and I hope I don't get too near to you out of the fear of what diseases I might catch. But you can always aspire to be like me even if you aren't anywhere near smart or talented or hard-working enough. Just consider yourself lucky to read my brilliant all-knowing advice and you too may be worthy of being better for it! Amen.

I should represent this Site and show them talk is just that. Til u get there, u and everyone else is the same. Hell even if u get there its not right to brag about it. Chances are they are not who they say they are.

Take everything you read on the net with a grain of salt. he could be giving us his thoughts on what he wants to be and not what he really is.

Anyone who is that successful is not that much of an arrogant prick
