Just got my first CC

Postby dotikk » Thu Jul 26, 2012 9:24 pm

Just got my first CC, a discover More Student card! Pretty pumped as I was sure I'd have to sludge my way through some 'secured' CC before I could even get a decent rewards card. They started me off with a healthy 1k CL. ;)

(Oh, 19 Y.O College Student, some students loans I've made payments on, so it may have helped my case)
Cards:
Discover IT 2.3K
Amex Blue Cash Everday N/A
Beldens Jewelers Store Card 3.5K
Kohls Store Card 1K

Congratulations! That's a great way to start. You did well to get that starting out there are a good number of people who don't even have the student card More and have a 1k limit!

Exactly a year ago all I had was a 500 dollar Capital One card. So I understand your fears on what you'd start out with. Take good care of that and you will go on to good things!

Thanks! Starts at 0% APR (9. Months) then goes to %18.99 APR after that, which isn't toooo bad. Only had about a 668 FICO according to the paperwork they sent me, so I think I got a little lucky. :ppp
