Maybe it's the iridescent background. My Fidelity Visa has it too.

I got ZYNC since I thought it looked cool. I had wanted to get a AMEX Charge card and ZYNC was the perfect way to go. I got more comments with ZYNC than I do with my Platinum. Back in the day, I also got Blue for the look. I wanted the translucent card with the cool microchip back in the day. Turns out both those card are still my go to cards.

I got 2 credit cards because I really like the appearance of them. National Australia Bank Low Fee Card (NAB Low Fee Card - NAB) which is a $30 annual fee but I do also like the low annual fee on the card. I also got Commonwealth Bank Platinum Awards (Platinum Credit Card) is also a really good looking card and had slightly better rewards then my existing Gold Card with the same bank.

Just got my Freedom in the mail today. I didn't expect it to be shiny. I can see why some people really like it. The green edge is kind of cool. To be honest the Slate design made me use it a lot more because of the looks. I know a lot of people hate it haha

So the new Freedom cards have a green edge? That will complement the yellow edge on my new card, which I just received. I'm due for a new Freedom by December. I'll be getting the Discover IT card in the mail in a few weeks. I requested it specifically and only because of what it looks like.
American Express: Blue Cash Preferred (groceries, 6%; gas, department store, 3%); Gold Delta SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines, 2 miles/dollar, free checked bag).
US Bank: Cash+ (utilities, phone, internet, restaurant, 5%; drugstores, 2%).
FIA Card Services: Fidelity Amex (everything, 2%); Fidelity Visa (everything, 1.5%).
Chase: Freedom (rotating, 5%); Amazon (, 3%); PriorityClub (IHG hotels, 5 points/dollar); Sapphire (not in use).

*All cards are registered with PriorityClub IDine program for 8 points/dollar at participating restaurants.

The style of the card is definitely a draw.

I chose the Amex Geen over Gold because I love the classic look.

Amex Green NPSL
Navy FCU $20,000
Citi Forward $6,000
Barclaycard $2,400
