I was also thinking how they always tell you "this call may be recorded for quality assurance purposes". And I'm thinking that's odd, I've read numerous accounts of people who were promised that this won't be a hard pull by the CSR and what do you know it's a hard pull, now given that they were recording for just such purposes so they said it should be easy for them to verify that, but I've never heard of them ever bothering to do that. Apparently they only care if it's something that benefits them I would guess!

Meaningless CC company phrases:
No preset spending limit
for security purposes
for quality assurance purposes
for your protection
we value your business
pre-qualified (everyone on earth is "pre-qualified" if you think about it)

By the way I'm not truly ripping on them just pointing out a lot of the meaningless marketing speak.
