AGP, what I was trying to say was that, for example, my limit is 700 and I use about 500$, but I pay it back before the statement closes. And the balance is 0. The question I am trying to ask is If I have a utilization before I pay my balance, will that affect my CC score? or will it not have an affect? that's what I'm wondering about. And I'll do my best to stay out of trouble...lol.

I'm going to say that you would have no utilization. Wouldn't make sense to say you have utilization, because if you spend 500, pay it off, then spend another 550 in the same period, you wouldn't have 150% utilization would you? Utilization is what's on your monthly statement.

Ahh okay. I just didnt want to use my card up and then come to find out that it would have a negative impact before I paid the balance (I try to do this a week before my statement date closes, so that way my balance is 0). Thank you for helping me out here.

I would pay your bill in full. when you want something on the card, how about lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.
putting 15.00 on the card is better than leaving a small amount from your previous statement.
