Citi Bank sues Citi Pawnshop

Postby Cucumber » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:37 am

This is in the blog. Citigroup sues Citi Pawn Shop over copyright infringement.

One of the comments on there says that their logo was a clone of Citigroup's logo... any truth to that? Well even if it is they seriously need to be worrying about more important stuff than suing little pawn shops that no one cares about.
Stop talking crap about him!

I did a search on this to try and find the logo the pawnshop was using. It looks like Citigroup has more suing to do - there's a pawn shop in Florida that also goes by the name Citi.

Here is a pic of the Citi Pawn Shop in Brooklyn that is being sued - their logo is in the lower right hand corner.
I can see why they are suing. That logo is a close imitation of Citi Bank's logo. I don't see how they could have created that logo accidentally either.
