Socks and my Chase Freedom card since I maxed out the 5% on groceries. I'll put the Chase card back in the wallet next quarter for gas and restaurants, when my Discover Open Road card will come out of the wallet and join the socks. I could also switch the Discover card to the More version for a while if I want some extra headroom on 5% gas.

Well honestly no credit cards. I closed my old accounts once I got the new ones I wanted. The reason why is first I don't care about utilization as I don't carry a balance so that wasn't a concern, and frankly I have a hard time feeding the cards I have enough spending each month to be honest, so closing those cards was not a big deal (If you are curious they were a Paypal MC from GE with a 5800 limit, a FNBO Amex with a 5600 limit, a Cap One Cash Rewards with 3000 limit, a Barclays Apple Financing with 2500 limit, and an Amazon Store card with 1600 limit). I just don't spend enough to keep all those cards fed along with my current cards. In fact it's had enough to spread things around my current cards. I probably have more than I should, and if anything I'd close the Visa Platinum but I want to keep options open in case Amex decides to FR me, so that's why I have cards other than Amex. If I knew I could just stay a member for good with no issues and every place took Amex, I wouldn't have anything else, but after hearing the horror stories of FR and due to some places not taking it, I keep alternatives.
