She should make a complaint to the state's attorney general or something. I think the argument would be even if you don't read the fine print you'd never expect for something like that to be in there. That's like if they snuck in the fine print that you owe them a kidney. Even if you signed it you could fight it and win because you would say that it's so far fetched for anyone to expect that to be in there.

Thanks for the suggestion, Cucumber. I would not, however, expect a response from any government official, but it's worth a try. If banks are allowed to pull this stunt with customers in good standing, it's going to have a huge backlash...customers will close their accts and put their money under the mattress. This is no way to run a business! BofA should stop handing out credit cards to illegal aliens with matricular cards...maybe this would lessen their losses!
