My Fako dropped 53 points..

Postby andy1088 » Fri May 11, 2012 1:17 pm

Hi all,

My fako just dropped 53 points to 664 (was 717) on Credit Karma. Is this due to AAOA? I paid off some cards recently and the only thing that could have hurt (and changed) was that I called the reconsideration line for BOA and got approved for a new card. Would that change my score that much? I should also add I just paid off $300 on my Discover card, so my score should have went up?
My cards
Chase-Sapphire-$5,000 Freedom-$3,000, Amazon rewards-$700, Slate-$600
Citi- Diamond Preferred-$4,000, Thank you-$2,500
Discover IT-$2,500
Bank of America cash rewards-$2,000
Capital one newcomer rewards-$500

At the bottom of the score page it shows historical data. Check and see if you find any changes that may have had an adverse effect on your credit score.

The only change is 12% less utilization...

My Transrisk score bumped up 30 points due to my new Fidelity Amex account, but my auto insurance score fell by 20 points. In other words, don't take this stuff too seriously.

Wouldn't pay any attention to Credit karma scores. There have been many times that my CK scores have dropped and my real fico scores stayed the same or even increased.
