I wouldn't worry. You just need to understand how credit reports work. The report is on a particular person (actually a SSN with name/address combos). During a BK, what happens is that a BK goes on credit report of a person. The person can also put all their credit obligations status to IIBK. None of this is on your credit report and therefore your score is not affected. But you need to be a bit careful. I know many card issuers pull BK reports and potentially could make a mistake. But anything that would happen would be a mistake so it is smart to remove your accounts from her report. You can put her back on once BK is finalized.
