I have seen that card before... I'm not a fan of the color green so I'm not a big fan of the card.

Neither am I, but I like the mix of the retro and modern look of it. Too bad it is plastic.

I like my discover Black monogram card that I have. I think it looks pretty smooth. I think the all the amex charge cards have an upscale appeal to them.

I contacted Chase yesterday to see if they will make exceptions and give me a metal Sapphire Basic if I were to apply. Let's see what they say...

Hey guys, bad news from Chase...

"
The metal card was previously issued for Chase Sapphire
Preferred customers, but it was only on a test basis. As
of today, metal cards aren?t available for any of our
customer accounts. If you apply for a new a Chase
Sapphire Preferred card, you will receive a regular
plastic card and not a metal card.

It seems like Chase CSR just tells people CSP is no longer metal when in reality it is? I talked to another CSR and asked if I could get a metal card if I apply for a basic Sapphire and was told no because the metal card is only for CSP. I'm going to a Chase bank in person to check some time this weekend and will get back to you all.
