Yes being pre-approved does help, I would go for the Diamond Preferred.

I have 100% on time payments, I average about 8 yrs of open accts, the only bad thing is my utilization. It is at 50%

Would applying for their Diamond MC and maybe one of their Visa cards at the same time help?

Today in the mail I got another invitation for Citibank - Thank You Card. Why am I all off a sudden getting invitations from Citibank?

Should I apply for either the Diamond Preferred or Thank You Card of which I got invitations for?
