Credit card with at least a $2,000 limit for first timer?

Kreeker,

Go get NFCU. Then call then up and see what card the person thinks is good for you. You might need to do a secured card with them, but they are good about unsecuring it sooner vs later. You dad was a SeaBee, so you should qualify.

Call them up. I don't think you need your dad's info aside from Name if you call in.
