New minimum age for credit card?

WTF the minimum age for a credit card changed? I can be 18 and smoke drink go serve in war but not get a credit card? How is this legal and what is the new minimum age?

1) You can't drink at 18

2) The minimum age for a CC is still 18, where did you hear it wasn't?

Maybe he is talking about the requirements about having to have income to get a credit card between 18-21.

The minimum age for a credit card is still the same if you have a job.

Well, when I got my first credit card at 18, I used it as "cash on hand" rather than borrowing cash. Thankfully it was a low interest card and I learned my lesson with some help to keep it from becoming an issue. But with that said, wouldn't surprise me at all if the banks were doing something like that.
