Capital One vs Chase credit cards?

Postby 1fearless » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:50 pm

I am debating between a Chase or Capital One credit card. What are the pros and cons for each? I keep reading that Capital One cards will be easier to get approved for but then I see a lot of ads for Chase rewards that sound good. What type of credit score will I need to get approved for a good card from either?

I guess one advantage with Capital One, is you can get their cards for more places than just Central America. Chase seems to only apply to the United States applicants. This could cause a lot of extra fees when outside the country.

Did you want to pay an extra 2.5% hike just because you walked from New York into Ontario for example?

Chase is much better. Capital One will always have a higher rate, poor service, never have lower rates if you ask for one, no good programs if you are in financial trouble and on and on. That is the same for HSBC and Weels Fargo.
