Balance Transfer ?

Postby Mandy77 » Sun Aug 24, 2008 11:05 pm

Hey everyone I have a Bank of America Platinum Visa I have had since around 2004.

I decided to do a balance transfer in March which offered 0% until Dec 08. The funny thing is that I still get balance transfers from them monthly and they are for the same deal - 0% until Dec. 08. Why would I want to do a balance transfers in what is almost September now until December? Do they think I would want to do a 0% transfer for a whole 3 months? The BT fee of 4% alone would be more than the interest I would pay if I kept an amount for 3 months on a credit card at the standard APR. Are they doing this because I already did the B.T. or is it because they are cheap and not giving new BT offers past December?

Thats messed up.

It does gotta be something to do with that you already did a balance transfer with them I think. And since the terms of it are exactly the same as the transfer you did it points to that.

But if I'm wrong and they expect people to do balance transfers to get 3 months interest-free they've been smoking something funny. :D

Some people unfortunately are not as lucky as you are and can do math and they fall for it. That's why.
