I may need it to pay down some of my unsecured debt or for mortgage down payment later this year. I'm going to meet with a lender soon to make sure I'm on the right path to purchase toward the end of the year.

Off-topic, but I'm a car guy so I have to ask: Whatcha get?

Also, congrats!

It's used, 2005 Ranger FX4 Level II. It's perfect for towing my boat and weekend camping trips. I wanted 4x4 but wasn't looking for all that comes with the FX4 L2 trim--now that I have it I love it. I'm planning some off-road adventures with a buddy that has a Wrangler. I really miss the compact truck segment but I don't think it will return anytime soon; this one is in great shape and because it is only a weekender I hope it lasts a while.

Thanks
Sapphire Reserve: travel & dining
Blue Cash Preferred: groceries & gas

WSJ reports an upcoming Barclaycard Uber cobrand, available "in the fall".

https://www.wsj.com/articles/uber-and-l ... 1501425094
http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/201 ... deals.html

Visa is expected but not official.
Warranties and sketchy merchants: Schwab Platinum
Price rewind: Costco
Travel insurance: Prestige, CSP
Perks: IHG, Hyatt
Rewards/Offers: Discover, Freedom, ED, BCE
Taxes/Misc: SPG

Limited value, might close: Arrival

Might add: First Tech, proper business card

I'm curious to see the details. I can't imagine this being an AF worthy card...

I believe Cap1 recently discontinued their (20% off?) Uber promo and replaced it with a Spotify discount.

The only thing I can see Barclaycard offering to justify an AF would be some Uber discount or recurring credit/renewal bonus...maybe a 2x base earn rate and a nice bonus. More likely, as you say, it will be a no-AF card with a modest bonus and minimum spend requirement.

Yeah. Even without an AF, I'd want at least 3X on Uber, in addition to 1.5 or 2X on everything.
Cards:

-Capital One Quicksilver
-Barclaycard Arrival (no AF)
- US Bank (no rewards)
-IHG
