Chase Applications

Postby Tubpbs » Sun Apr 30, 2017 8:56 pm

Does anyone have recent (or not so recent is also going to be helpful) experience with applying for more than one Chase card on the same day?

Bonus if one was a personal card and the other was a business card.

I did this two years ago, but the second application did not get submitted successfully so I ended up technically submitting it the next day - so my data point is useless.

Also, can anyone confirm how Chase treats business lines against your personal internal limit? I'm pretty confident they consider it part of the same total, but any information one way or another would be great. Thanks.

They still go through. Exposure limit may impact or not.

They both count against your max exposure (internal limit) with Chase. However, if you allocate from personal to business you won't be able to reverse it. I'm stuck at the moment with a lower personal ceiling due to that even though I've lowered the limit on the business card.

What kind of limit are we talking here?

Hrm. That business counts against it is good to know. I've been considering one of the Ink products for my small business, but perhaps that's an incentive to diversify a bit and put the business account elsewhere..

Agree, BUT Ink earning / earning on business cards has the potential to leave your personal earning in the dust rapidly...

Does it? My business doesn't have that much in terms of expenses.

The sun has mostly set on the Chase business products with their reduction in category earning for the fee card.

It still works for me. My categories on the Ink Plus are pretty much maxed out annually. As long as they don't forcibly change my card to another Ink product, the Ink Preferred will allow additional earning in those categories and others that work for me.
