Sounds like you should sit tight.

Only interest I really have is the CSR and the Ink Preferred. Can't get either right now and wouldn't want the CSR immediately anyway and the Ink can wait.

I think most likely after the CSR, I will eventually phase out the Ritz. I apped for that righ before the CSR came out and between the two, long term, CSR offers much more value to me. I can easily cover the AF just from the 50% bonus vs 25% bonus on bookings - ignoring all other UR options...
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It

Aren't you relatively close to passing 5/24? If so, maybe wait that out first, if a Chase card is/was important to you.

I'm staying in the garden. Don't see any wonderful cards coming out, but if something does I'll consider it.

There's always going to be a bonus out there to go for, but if you have other long term goals, sometimes it's better to ignore it. Don't talk yourself into a card that isn't really necessary.

I actually fell off the bus a few weeks ago. I app'd for a BofA card to get the 21 month BT. Things are stacking up after almost a year in two households.

I've actually decided to call it quits with my Sam's Club MC. The rewards are great but the experience is terrible. I won't use it anymore and will just collect my rewards check in Feb then let it go.

My goal is to buy a home later this year so I need to get everything in order the next three months. If I play my cards right, I should be able to push my score >800 by July, hold it there until Oct/Nov when I plan to buy.
Sapphire Reserve: travel & dining
Blue Cash Preferred: groceries & gas
Freedom: 5% cats
Double Cash: everything else

I'm about 5 months from being 4/24...I guess I will sit tight. Keeping my options open is important if something changes.

Hey y'all! It's been awhile! But I'm in the Garden for the time being. No cards that really interest me.

March 12th for in-branch.

I want to garden, but now my honeymoon point redemption plan has changed. I was going hard for HHonors points, but now it looks like we're going to try to use a travel agent for the hotels. So I'm looking at flights, but my currencies don't work well with what I what. I have almost 300k HHonors, and 122k MR points. Once I saw MR goes to KrisFlyer for United, I got excited about flying first class, but there are literally no saver awards outside of the next 2 months. So that puts me back to Flying Blue and Delta, but I'm still trying to figure out what class the FB business award will put me on DL metal, since they don't have a business class. I get an error when I try the booking part of FB since I don't have the points in my account yet.

On top of that, I'm not seeing a reason to keep the platinum after year one, and since it's a Mercedes card, I can't PC it. So I'm thinking of trying for an ED card to keep any points after transferring them for flights. Amex has been better to me than Citi/Chase, but their lack of partners is frustrating at times.
Main Cards:
Amex: Ameriprise Plat, Surpass
Chase: Hyatt

Sock drawer Cards:
Amex: HHonors
Chase: Amazon Rewards, Freedom
Citi: Macy's Amex, Simplicity, ThankYou
Citizens Bank: Cash Back Plus World
Discover: it
Elan: Bank Rewards
Synchrony: PayPal
