It was fun to do once...but once is enough for me.

People who watched TV got a better view of the ball drop and shows than I did. That said, there's a certain fun energy in the crowd that you don't get elsewhere.

I guess I can check that off the bucket list. That's not happening ever.

Diapers, cold, standing all day and spending lots of money.

Started the PC process to convert AA Platinum to Costco.

Apparently it takes 2 months...but when the AF posts it should eventually be refunded. Even if I do pay the AF, I will probably get another checked bag or two in the next two months.

Still gardening. Tempted by a 75K free mile offer (Delta Gold Amex.) Also tempted by Chase Platinum Reserve (still available in branch for a while longer.) But I have not given in to temptation yet. :D

Buying a house this year, so in the garden.

Actually, I should have gone into the garden earlier. A couple card apps last spring (so, just under a year ago) took my score down and it still hasn't bounced back to where it was. Still in the high-700s, so I hope it won't make a huge difference, but I'm still kicking myself.
Cards:

-Capital One Quicksilver
-Barclaycard Arrival (no AF)
- US Bank (no rewards)
-IHG

At high 700s, you should be fine for a home loan. Do note, however, that the FICO scores used for mortgage purposes tend to be slightly lower than the ones used for credit cards for most people.

I'm staying put in the garden. No itches. Use my cards best, grow savings, enjoy life.
