At times I enjoy paying cash which I use a lot, obviously on weekends when I go out to dinner I use credit cards, but when I want to buy a gift card say for 10.00 or if I'm eating at a fast food restaurant I like cash.

I pay with cards everywhere which accept them. There are a few locations which refuse to accept anything besides cash (Specifically a restaurant in NYC I am thinking of) that could (and should) accept cards, but decide not to.

Wake up not everyone that pays with credit carries a balance. Most people pay off their cards in full every month. Don't assume everyone you see paying with a charge card is some poor credit delinquent that can't afford to pay with cash. We pay with credit because it's easier, safer, and gives rewards.

If you carry a balance and are paying for your "McBarfolds Breakfast" for 3 years then of course we all think credit cards are a bad idea for you. But if you have self discipline to use them correctly, then you should use them!

It should also be said that not everyone paying in plastic is using Credit.....I make it a policy not to carry any more than 60$ in cash on my person and the only time I have that much is if I just came from the ATM...I use my Debit Card for my little transactions (Drug Store, Dunkin Donuts, Movie Tickets) always less than 100$ and where my card is always in my sight...Everything else yes I use Credit...

So yes I also don't see the point in paying cash if it for any purchase I would say over 50$.....Plastic (either Credit or Debit) is much more efficient and quick.
