No more than 1 Citi credit card application within 8 days
No more than 2 Citi credit card applications within 65 days
This applies to both personal and business cards, combined
There is also an additional restriction for Citi business credit cards – no more than 1 Citi business credit card within 90 days

They also use "too many recent inquiries" as an excuse to deny apps, so in that regard, they're stricter than Chase.

Oh, okay. I thought you were saying it was about 8+ accounts in 65 months...which would be an extreme change.

The 18 month rule described on that page has since been expanded to 24 months, and applies to entire card families (like TY or non-business AA). The new way to chase Citi bonuses, for those so inclined, is to alternate between TYs, AA, and Hilton.

I want to buy a condo in the next year, so no new cards for me. Waiting for my Arrival Inquiry to fall off (soon) and waiting for my score to get back above 800 (hopefully).

And working on getting my husband's score up a bit, too.

I sure hope that, in the meantime, no issuer launches a no-annual-fee card with travel, gas, groceries and dining as bonus categories, and a puppy as a sign-up bonus. Because then I would have FOMO.
Cards:

-Capital One Quicksilver
-Barclaycard Arrival (no AF)
- US Bank (no rewards)
-IHG

Maybe that fueled the American Kennel Club Visa fad...people could upload pictures of their dog onto the card.

Of course, the picture of the dog won't fetch or lick your face, but from others' reports the Comenity CSRs might bite.

Stumbled across an interesting card for fans of Broadway and the Met Opera: FNBO Audience Rewards Amex. I couldn't find any MF following.

No, I didn't app. But with no AF, a good dining earn rate, and a reasonable bonus...it's not so bad. You need to live in NYC or visit occasionally, though, for it to be practical...and be happy with rewards in the form of NYC show tickets (a mix of good and bad seats).

That's an interesting card to offer for a Nebraska based bank.

I got an offer from FNBO for a Fiat VISA (I drive a Fiat 500 pop) that offered deals on parts and oil changes at my local dealership. Not sure how long I'm going to keep the car, may upgrade at some point in the future to an AWD SUV or something similar.
Current Cards: Chase Freedom, Discover IT
Future: TBD

Well, at least they don't exclude NY applicants!

I'm not eligible for the bonus right now, but I'm warming to the idea of getting AA Executive to replace AA Platinum.

I'd carefully follow the bonus rules, not opening the former until 2018, then closing the latter after I have the bonus. Hopefully there will be another 100k promo.

What qualities are you looking for in the Executive? I've thought about it now and then.
