Business - Citi unveils credit card in mobile phones - INQUIRER.net
Apparently Citi came out with some credit card program you can use on cell phones. They chose the Philippines because I guess more people use cell phones there and the average person sends 12 to 15 text messages a day.
This article is so horribly written I read it twice and still didn't really get the gist of what it is exactly or how it works. From what I took you can make charges to your cell phone by sending a text or calling a business.
I really wouldn't like the idea of that. Then cell phones would become as much of a target as stealing a wallet. I prefer keeping the two separate.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed and linked to. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.
