Delta Skyclub

Postby [email protected] » Thu Aug 25, 2016 10:25 pm

Like someone's experience with Delta Skyclub. In October we are flying down to Orlando, Fl. To go on a Cruise out of Port Canaveral. On We are flying Delta, and on the Return flight home we will be at the Orlando Airport for several hours before our Flight, and at the Atlanta Airport for over an hour also. With my Amex Platinum card I know I have access to the clubs at Orlando & Atlanta, but I have never been in any Airport clubs or lounges, so just like some feedback on them. Thanks

You'll get in free, but be aware the guest fee is $29 per person. Amex Platinum gives no free guests at Delta or Priority Pass (but does at Airspace and Centurion).

I've not been to lounges in MCO or ATL (or even been to either airport for years) but the Delta lounge at SFO was pretty nice. It was spacious and had good food. The free food options are generally limited at the lounges I've been to (Admirals had a larger variety of food for purchase), but they are varied, so you can probably find something you'll like.

In a previous thread, you said you're a big person. Assuming you have one guest and can eat a fair amount of food between the two of you over the course of several hours, $29 might be a reasonable price to pay for decent food for the two of you. I don't know the alternatives for MCO or ATL, but $14.50 per person doesn't go far at many airports.

I'd suggest seeing if FlyerTalk has such info, There's a lot more traffic on topics like this over there.
