Where have you been able to/not been able to use EMV?

For just about anything you want to get off your chest about credit cards.

While Krogers (King Soopers in the west), Sam's Club, and Walmart all are EMV enabled here in northern Colorado in their retail stores, what is sorely lacking is their fuel pay at the pump stations. They still use swipe functions, which are renowned for the ease of skimming. This is also true for various gas stations such as Kum & Go in this area. So far, I've yet to encounter any pay at the pump EMV chip enabled stations for fuel.

ETA: As for the original list from OP, here in northern Colorado (outside the Denver metro area), the following accept EMV:

Krogers/King Soopers
Safeway
Walmart
Sam's Club
Target
KMart
Lowe's (haven't received an EMV chipped store card)
Home Depot (haven't received an EMV chipped store card)
Ace Hardware
Retired, and in the process of retiring cards!

Same in CT, I have yet to encounter chip at any gas pump.

An interesting aside, the Bank of America ATM at my work is EMV enabled. I swipe the card like normal, and then have to reinsert and leave it while I do what I need to.

I've also never interacted with an EMV pump and I rent cards frequently on travel and drive all over... Still just swipe.

Just shopped at Lowe's and Best Buy. Both took chip.

At Best Buy, I was in line behind a lady who literally could not even with the chip. She was so confused and when the cashier finally took her card from her and stuck it in the chip reader, the lady kept trying to take the card out before the transaction was complete. There are so many news articles about how long chip transactions take, but I think more than half of that is human stupidity. It's similar to when self-checkout lines made their debut. At first, you heard a lot of complaints about how they didn't save any time, because people were so confused by them. But now we've got the drill down, and it's fine.

Bought $5K worth of kitchen appliances at Best Buy using the chip. Their terminals are slow, but it worked just fine. Preemptively called Chase to let them know that although I don't regularly buy kitchens, this was not a fraud attempt...

I was just at Stop & Shop and they are swipe only.

An interesting note though, they had a notice that gift cards could only be purchased with cash or bank debit cards.

Staples by me just started using chip. I asked the clerk and she said it was within the last two weeks.

King Soopers/Kroger has had their machines working for a few months now, tried the EMV reader at Dunkin' Donuts this morning, no luck, still swipe. Target is functioning. I understand 7-11 (inside the store) will be functioning as of September. Walgreens is functioning (though I mostly use Apple Pay there).

Lowe's and Kohl's are chip off the top of my head. As is WalMart but good lord they had some kinks to work out. First you put your card in, it took forever then it would just error out. THEN they force pinned you, not good. Now they've finally got it to where you select other and it goes through as credit. Of course I'm referring to a debit card :)
