Did you app?
What does your receipt comment mean?
I apped and was instantly approved for $8k.
I was reminded of how outrageous airport food prices can be, and how that multiplies with company. I'll be flying more than usual in the next 12 months. Between layovers and guest access, it seems hard to go wrong with adding Prestige now.
Using perks like that, I don't have to get great cpp value for the card to make sense for the next 12 months, so I decided added complexity wasn't much of a concern...for the first year, at least.
*I'd appreciate your guidance on "upgrading" PP to enable guest access. And do I need to sign up for Admirals Club access?
No sign up for Admiras club. You just need to show your ticket and the card. They check the ticket and swipe the card and you go in.
Surprisingly, comfort and avoiding crowds aside, the most appealing part of the lounges for me is the food also. You can get a real sandwich that isn't disgusting trash for like $7 instead of horrible shit for like $11 or $20 outside. It's also nice and quiet in there and the humans per square foot are obviously dramatically reduced. They also had free cookies in I think all the Admirals clubs I stopped in. Can't go wrong with a couple free chocolate chip cookies while waiting around the airport.
For the priority pass upgrade, I would wait and see what comes within a week or so of the account opening and go from there. I get the feeling even though you already have a membership, Citi will create it for you and or it will upgrade your membership automatically.
Congrats on the approval. Pretty reasonable starting limit.
That's two cards in 2 or 3 months with Citi right? What with the AA Platinum start at? 4K?
