Nice! Have you come across any other perks that wasn't mentioned as much on the website? Are all Prestige cards MC World Elite?

Yes. They're all World Elite MC as far as I know.

I don't look at the Prestige online that much since I have it, but off the top of my head, I know it stopped showing that it reimburses for TSA pre-check, but it does indeed reimburse every 5 years. Other than that, I have no idea because I barely or rarely look at the card online.

I'm pretty sure Prestige allows guests for Priority Pass lounges, unlike Amex Platinum. That said, paying a per-use guest fee infrequently is better than getting another AF card and not using the perk much.

I agree and I think you're correct about the Platinum Prioriry Pass vs. the Prestige. I have it through Prestige.

The Admiras club access restriction I was referring to is that you have to be flying American on that trip. I have brought in a guest each and every time I've used the lounge without any pause or issue.

I like the Prestige card quite a bit.

I may end up with one eventually. I could try it out for a year, see how they compare, and keep the one I like more...or both.

I would wager you'll end up with one sooner or later and I would wager you'll end up keeping both or Prestige.

Have you used any of the world elite specific perks yet? I called Citi and they confirmed my TY Premier is World Elite so I am excite about that.

I'll be doing a lot of flying in the next 10 months, so now would be the time to use the perks.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure just Prestige perks but it's possible I'm wrong.

I signed up through Amex for Priority Pass but haven't gotten anything in the mail. Did Prestige give you an actual PP card? Or you just show your Prestige card to get access to PP and Admirals lounges?

I have a card and a seperate account. I didn't have to sign up but I did have to make a login and all that stuff. I believe it is "Prioriry Pass Select" - which is like the same price or more of the annual fee on the Prestige. I'm not sure if that's what it's called, but I do think that pricing info is correct. The card has an expiration date on it (not sure what it is but several years into the future).

Also, the priority pass card arrived before my Prestige card due to some nonsense sending the card.

I can get you some more details if you want. I have the envelope they sent everything in somewhere.

Just noticed you were approved for the Prestige - congrats on the approval!! A couples of perks caught my attention with the Prestige - Trip cancellation and Trip Delay insurance. I was surprised to find out these perks are not complimentary on the Platinum card.

Also, I found a blog by ThePointsGuy on transfer times for MR and TY and a lot of the MR partners are instant transfer while there no TY transfer partners that were instant during their test. That definitely makes me want to keep most of my points in MR currency. The fastest transfer time for TY points were 12-24 hours and the average was around 2 days. They also analyze SPG transfer times and the average was around 6 days. However, I still feel TY points still have a lot of value just not as much as MR points. And I still believe the perks on the Prestige are really good.

Makes me want to apply lol. Do you think it will be okay to apply in 3 months? I still have to meet my Platinum spending thresholds so I don't mind waiting.
