As long as they have the same $150 opening bonus offer, I would apply for the Unlimited instead of PC (plus you don't want to miss out on the categories). I remember the Freedom had a $25 bonus for adding an AU too.

Besides being at my exposure limit w/Chase. I'm way past 5/24. :p

Q2 is going to be an opportunity to earn decent base rewards on a lot of stuff...

Freedom: 5% URs/10% transfer value on Groceries, Costco Cash from Costco.com
Discover: 10% cash on Restaurants, Apple/Dell portals for a possible computer purchase
Sallie Mae: 5% cash on Amazon and non-Costco gas

That leaves some travel and miscellaneous stuff.

I may end up delaying my next app a bit, since some of the places where I won't be earning 5%+ don't take Amex and my top two choices atm are Amex cards. OTOH, I will be flying (can use perks and credits), and I can use up Costco/Amazon gift cards (to meet minimum spend in a pinch) eventually. I wouldn't need to carry any balances.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG, Prestige (retention)
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt
SD with activity alerts, might close: Arrival

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech, BofA Travel PH, Aviator Red

I got a targeted offer in the mail for Amex Delta Gold.

50k miles, $50 statement credit with a Delta purchase, $1k spend. There are bigger bonuses, but I'll be making at least two round trips (probably on Delta or American) in the next six months, and the free bags would be nice.

Well worth considering...I have already flown Delta twice in 2016 and have used up the PRG extras credit.

I plan on asking FNBO for a CLI at just past the 6 month mark since I got the card.

I worry about asking them to do a HP if a SP fails as I don't want to have a weakened profile while the whole system suddenly goes down the toilet because the banks are loaning out prime loans to sub prime customers again. Thanks fed and world centralized banks for making the banks pay money via a negative interest rate to keep a healthy cash reserve to force them into loaning it out no matter what.

How much does each hard pull on a credit report impact the risk model at banks as this is something I still feel unsure about. I know it counts as a request for credit, but in the real world when the banks are under stress is this a factor that would really matter or should it not even cross my mind as an issue if one more was added for a CLI request.

Normally I don't care that much what the CL is, but 1k just doesn't cut it and is my smallest line of credit by far so in this case I plan to ask for a CLI and even go though with a hard pull if the SP fails unless it's a large risk to my credit at that point in time.

Why are you so focused on that 1K CL?

I think the best part of the whole thing is when the OP basically demands, pissing and whining, that the thread be shut down for "non-FSR" behavior - pathetic. And then it gets shut down. Really pathetic.

Hahaha. It's likely because you don't piss and fret like a 6 old for having your feelings hurt... You do the feeling hurting.

That joeyzoom thread was ridiculous. Notice how he said he "got his interest waived". Remember a month ago he got flagged for a casino cash advance?

Dude's in over his head and probably swimming in debt, which I guess is why he gets so defensive.
