This card normally doesn't offer any cash back, but could now come in handy since I do make a lot of online purchases. This is also a great way for me to keep the card open (since I only used it for financing, and haven't used it since my initial purchase).

It would be nice if they just added some permanent cash back options to the Diamond, but it's nice they give you something. Better than nothing! "Online purchases" is nice and broad.

It's very nice because there's no minimum redemption; they provide a statement credit after the promotion. Also it's become a useful card to me now because I haven't used my Freedom or Discover (don't use the current categories).
American Express: Blue Cash Everyday (10k), Everyday, ; Discover It (7.3k) ; Target (2.1k)

Freedom I've had for 1 1/2 years, Discover I got in November last year. The balances are mainly from some bills that needed paying that I didn't have the money for upfront, until now.[/quote]

Well, then congratulations. Keep the balances away.
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It

I just finished off my AA minimum spend with some paid AA tickets. It would have been nice to have the AA miles already available. I could have redeemed for 2.2 cpp (vs. my best alternative paid base fare), but at least I get the free checked bags for my group.

Anyway, the hunger for a new card/bonus in the next month or two is now noticeably stronger. :D
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG, Prestige (retention)
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt
SD with activity alerts, might close: Arrival

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech, BofA Travel PH, Aviator Red

BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus

The Chase Freedom Unlimited seems like a no-brainer to me, it offers the same bonus as the Freedom does, $150.

Is this card listed anywhere?? How do we know what the bonus is? I haven't seen it on Chase's site yet, but I could be missing things...

I'm considering this option (PC from Sapphire) should Chase not want to downgrade my Ink Plus.

The plan:
Wait for about 2 weeks and have my cards report lower utilization and fewer balances.
If more details on the Amex/Schwab Platinum are available AND the card looks good, wait a few days and app on or shortly after 3/31, when the card is supposed to become available.
If no details are available OR I don't like the new information, possibly app for SPG. I'm still not totally sure how I should value the points, but I know enough to see that having 35k of them would be great.
If Barclaycard renews their Wyndham promotion for the 15k guaranteed renewal bonus at any time, I will probably app. Whether and when that will happen is very speculative.
If nothing better comes along, app for the Citi Hilton Reserve after a few months.

I'm considering FU as well, but I am deciding whether I want to wait and apply or just PC my current Freedom.
Wallet: Chase Freedom, Discover IT
Chopping Block: Synchrony
Future: TBD

As long as they have the same $150 opening bonus offer, I would apply for the Unlimited instead of PC (plus you don't want to miss out on the categories). I remember the Freedom had a $25 bonus for adding an AU too.
