Still a shitty policy for co-brands.

It amazes me that people on MF can spend hours of their lives writing long posts about whether TY, UR or MR is best and figuring out the best redemption for every possible situation in their life, but they can't be bothered to not figure out how to avoid paying interest on their cards.

Look for "chase interest" thread under the CC subforum on there if interested.

It's like....seriously?

They know the answer, don't overspend.

Now they complain they are "in a financial bind" because they have to PIF right now to avoid further interest.

Ok, then stop overspending, like you said. This isn't rocket science.

Ah, but if they stop overspending then how would they earn rewards?

Citi AA Platinum has reported.

I'm not sure for how much longer I'll be in the garden. I'll be flying a fair amount (personal travel) in the next few months, so will have plenty of opportunities to use up points. The flights will be domestic and likely direct, so there wouldn't be much need for a card with lounge access. I've accumulated points a lot faster than I've been using them, so some efficient redemptions would be good.

On the other hand, though I'm unlikely to buy the house I mentioned earlier in this thread, I may help in the repairs. Lots of reimbursable trips to Home Depot and minimum spend opportunities. :ppp
Wallet: Prestige CSP SchwabPlat Freedom It Hyatt SallieMae AAPlat
SD: Arrival BrooksBros BCE ED IHG
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

Apparently I no longer have sufficient privileges to post at myfico. Sounds like the ban hammer came down on my account, although I couldn't tell you what for. I had thought of stopping posting there to begin with so no big loss.

Edit: And all of a sudden I'm back. Strange!
Current Cards: Chase Freedom, Discover IT
Future: TBD
